Illuminated pedestrian subways not only provide a safer environment and increased safety, they are also visually appealing. An opal, colour-impregnated or printed hammer glass panel with LED lighting creates an attractive point of light in the darkness at night. For graffiti, markings or other soiling, most known cleaning agents and chemicals can be used without damaging the Hammerglass panels.

A colour-impregnated or printed Hammerglass panel with LED lighting creates an attractive point of light in the night-time darkness. Variable LEDs make the effect even more spectacular. However, an illuminated pedestrian subway is not only visually appealing, but also provides a safer environment and increased safety.

The Hammerglass panels can be printed using the screen printing technique or the digital printing technique. These techniques allow printing in four colours and offer unlimited possibilities for individual design. Municipal coats of arms can be added to the underfloor panels and the patterns can be repeated at regular intervals or a designer print can be provided. For larger series of panels, there is the option of producing colour-impregnated hammered glass.

Design and assembly

In order to achieve an optimal fit, all panels are individually measured after the assembly of a steel skeleton. The panels are flexible and can be shaped for installation in curved profiles. They are fixed with steel profiles/Hammerglass Fixpoints. Involve us in your considerations as early as the idea phase. Our designers create drawings and make suggestions for functional solutions.
